At The Healing and Creative Arts Center of the Palm Beaches,
we believe that children and adults of all ages can heal and reach their potential
through creative and artistic expression, tutoring and education. Founded in 2001
by Midge Lansat, the Center is a non-profit organization offering stress management,
theater and personality workshops to promote self-esteem and discovery.
The Center has been supported by donations and volunteer
time. It is rapidly expanding its services to benefit more citizens of the Palm
Beach County communities. Since its founding, HACAC has served more than 3,600
clients.

Maureen (Midge) Lansat, LMHC/ Founder/President
As a State Licensed Supervisor and Trainer of Counselors
in Florida, Midge provides communications training; group and workshop facilitation
training for artists, educators and counselors.
Since 1975, experience
in regular and special education in the public school system. Since 1990, Clinical Therapist experience licensed since 1996.

Through its teachers, counselors and support staff, HACAC
provides a safe and stimulating climate where children can grow and flourish throughout
all stages of development. Children are able to explore the limitless possibilities
they possess by placing them in a favorable environment to develop their talents
and interests.
The Healing and Creative Arts Center is unique in its
approach to solving societal problems. We combine a personalized counseling/educational
program for both children and adults, blending mental health care and artistic
expression. The entire family is part of the healing process, and each family
member is evaluated and helped. The goal of the Center is to empower children
and adults to reach their fullest potential.
